With the motive one remains faithful. It is always the same, only the year of mintage changes. The motif shows instruments of the famous Vienna orchestra, namely a horn, a bassoon, a harp, a cello in the middle and next to it on the left and right a viola and, above, a violin.

The reverse side shows the organ in the Great Hall of the Musikverein (often called the "Golden Hall"). Designed by the chief engraver of the Austrian Mint, Thomas Pesendorfer, the coin has won several awards.
