Front
The obverse of the coin features a portrait of Liberty wearing a Phrygian cap and represents a symbol of freedom. "LIBERTY" and "IN GOD WE TRUST" are embossed on the coin.
Back
The reverse of the coin presents an eagle perched on a rock, plucking at a large laurel branch. The inscription "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", as well as the face value of $25, is stamped at the top of the coin.
